DLSS 5 is an insane concept. What do you mean they're making those early ai meme edits of game footage but now substituting actual game graphics? And people SUPPORT it? Well, "people" is subjective I suppose. After all, I typically don't believe those people you see on twitter comparing every new big game release to Red Dead Redemption 2 are real people with souls. That's mostly modern Rockstar fans though, ANYWAYS.

I was actually excited when I first heard DLSS 5 was revealed a few days ago, then Nvidia immediately spit in my face and told me to fuck myself. I personally think DLSS is a really cool technology and when it's applied correctly, you know, in the gamer's best interest (So, not REQUIRING it to hit 120fps in 1080p CAPCOM).

Unfortunately I made the grave mistake of forgetting Nvidia is no longer a company with games in mind, but rather one that is AI focused. Honestly a nice splash of cold water, I needed a reason to remember Nvidia was an evil company.
