Daily games I personally enjoy

Various games that refresh daily!

On this page you'll find a list of the various daily games I find myself playing in my offtime when I remember they exist as well as a brief description for them. I never actually compiled a list of these games for myself and typically go off of memory so this will not just simply be me sharing my interests but a nice page to access them from as well.

Video Games

GuessThe.Game 🗗

Guess The Game is quite straightforward. You're given a series of six screenshots from a game ranging from difficult to obvious (assuming you know the game). Starting on the second screenshot, more information about the game is revealed in the order of: Metacritic Score, Original Platform, Genre, Original Release Date, and Developer.

Guess The game has a backlog of 800+ days you can freely play and saves your results.

VGBandle.app 🗗

The video game music varient of Bandle. Video game songs are recreated using midi instruments and it is your goal to guess the song while only being given one instrument at a time. Each failed attempt (or skip) will add an instrument to the song, making it more clear with each new instrument.

VGBandle has a backlog of 80+ days you can freely play and saves/compiles your results into stats.

VGBandle.com 🗗

Discontinued!

Same concept as VGBandle.app but with a couple differences such as game variety and making use of the game's original soundfonts when possible. Where VGBandle.app focuses much more specifically on retro nintendo games (NES, SNES, NGC) you could expect at least a bit more variation for platform/publisher on VGBandle.com. Despite being discontinued I'm sharing it here because it's my preferred version when it comes to VGBandle.

VGBandle.com has a backlog of 120 days you can freely play and saves your results. It does not however compile them into overall stats.

Gamedle.wtf 🗗

Gamedle's core is a game where you guess for a game by it's blurred boxart that reveals more of itself with each failed attempt. There are four different modes as of now: Classic (box art), Artwork, Keywords, and Guess (by specifications about the game).

Gamedle does not have a backlog but instead has an infinite mode with a couple customizable options. Gamedle keeps track of total games played, your current streak, and your highest streak.

Movies/TV

Cine2Nerdle.app 🗗

Cine2Nerdle is a game where you swap the positions of blocks with keywords and actors from movies to line them all up with their own corresponding movie. Each game features four rows with their own exclusive keywords and a single row that shares one keyword from each of the other four movies.

Cine2Nerdle has a backlog of 650+ days you can freely play not including the option to make your own puzzles and play the puzzles other people have made. It also compiles your stats from previous games into a statistics page.

BoxOfficeGa.me 🗗

Box Office Game is simple to play but difficult if you don't know every movie ever made. You're given a specific weekend of a specific year and it's your goal to figure out what the presented 5 movies are that were in theaters at the time. You have the option to reveal certain hints such as the tagline, lead actors, the budget, genres, ect. but all at the cost of your final score for that particular movie.

Box Office Game's backlog is unknown to me but it can be accessed by donating to the creator's Ko-Fi. Results are saved as statistics and you can compare with scores from everyone else who has played.

Miscellaneous

PlayDisorderly.com 🗗

Disorderly is a game with the goal to sort six things from top to bottom based on whatever the given criteria is. It may give six movies and ask to sort by their release order or give six historical figures and have you sort them by their date of death, that sort of thing.

Disorderly has a backlog of 200+ days you can freely play and saves your results as statistics.

FoodGuessr.com

In FoodGuessr you're presented with different images of dishes from three different countries and it's your goal to guess which country the dish originated from. You are given hints such as ingredients and a description, then after a few failed guesses the name of the dish.

The number of days in the backlog is unknown to me but there is an option to play a random day from past games. Your results are saved as statistics.
